Brian S
Muay Thai
Coach Brian discovered Muay Thai was his spark shortly after his journey with “the Art of Eight Limbs” began several years ago. Having trained under several world-class coaches, he employs a technique-driven teaching style to highlight the purpose and intent of each skill as it fits in the bigger picture, and how to find what works for you. As a trainer, his adaptive teaching style allows everyone to get as much from their hard work as they give. Those with prior experience are all the more welcomed in his class, as it’s invaluable to find fresh perspectives and share knowledge while getting some quality hard work.
Beyond ensuring training is challenging, he pushes you to understand how and why to use any given skill within the frameworks of both competition and self defense, helping to cement self-confidence in each person as they progress. Brian encourages everyone to mentally engage with the techniques and find your strengths as an individual, accommodating the differences between each student to keep everyone engaged, active, and progressing to smash their goals one session at a time. Brian’s goal boils down to one thing: get everyone in the class doing Muay Thai and let the rest fall into place.
Yusuf S
Muay Thai, Boxing, Strength & Conditioning
Employing an ethos and work ethic informed by community care and a passion for arming every student with their highest potential, Yusuf started his martial arts journey young with Hung gar kung fu. Staying with the art form for seven years, he learned to infuse discipline into his day to day life all while learning traditional boxing along the way from family informally and multiple Boston area trainers. Reinvigorated by the malaise of the pandemic, Muay Thai and MMA became his central focus, and for the past five years he has perfected his own technique and skillset in order to be of best service to all those he works with.
Hank C
Muay Thai
With years of experience in Muay Thai and boxing, plus a wrestling background that began in childhood, Hank brings a lifelong passion for martial arts to every class. He believes fighting is more than just a workout—it’s a way to express yourself, build confidence, and discover how you respond to challenges.
His coaching emphasizes curiosity, playfulness, and accessibility. Whether you’re learning your first punch or refining advanced techniques, he creates an environment where everyone feels comfortable experimenting, improving, and having fun.
A self-described fight nerd, Hank loves diving into martial arts history, breaking down technique, and treating every training session as a chance to explore new ideas. His goal is to help students become more skilled, more confident, and enjoy the lifelong process of learning martial arts.
